Crematorium for 10.30hrs - East Lancashire Crematorium, Greenbank Road, Radcliffe, Bury, M26 4EU. Service lasts 45mins, then back to Hark to Dander (details to be confirmed nearer the time) address is Walmerlsey Old Road, Bury, BL9 6RA. Sue has requested that on the day Family flowers only and donations to Macmillan nurses. Anyone wanting any further details contact Lee Dunn on 07912 999419. Daz's dying wish was that his Thai partner and daughter should be looked after once he passed away. | Owen Wiscombe MBE SCLI/1 LI |
| Owen Wiscombe MBE, died on 31 August, 2008 at his home in Jersey. The funeral service was conducted with full military honours. Born in Taunton, Owen joined the Somerset and Cornwall Light Infantry, and the 1st Battalion the Light Infantry after amalgamation. Following his Army career, Owen worked for the Prison Service in the UK and Jersey. Most recently Owen was the HM Forces Support and Welfare Officer managing Forces Disablement and Widows Pensions in the Channel Islands. Our condolences go out to all family and friends. |
